Greubel Forsey's tagline is "the art of invention," and its iconoclastic architecture straddles the intersection of sculpture and engineering. But it's a very thin line on which to balance. While the brand's timepieces do have an avant-garde visual flair, they're always tempered by chronograph function, creating a gorgeous yet restrained tension between visual beauty and wearing purpose.

Jacob & Co. Twin Turbo Furious

Jacob & Co., jeweler to royalty and rappers, is behind some of the most daring timepieces in the watchmaking world. While its gem-set watches have kept the brand in the public spotlight, Jacob & Co. has applied its sense of style to complex timepieces that are not for the faint of heart.
The Twin Turbo Furious, launched earlier this year, is an extreme example of its minimalist taste. It not only combines complex functions such as minute repeaters, chronographs and double tourbillons, but also achieves them in an exotic way. Function. The minute repeater is of the decimal type, while the tourbillon adjustment is of the flying, three-axis and high-speed type.
This powerful watch is actually a follow-up to the original model from 2016, which was only a Twin Turbo; the “Furious” suffix refers to the added monopusher chronograph with reference time differential indication , which is the third unusual complication inside. In short, it might be described as "quite a high quality copy watches" to a modest person. In fact, it can be said to be a real watch. The complications are as large as the cases.
Unusually, the Twin Turbo Furious movement was designed by Le Cercle des Horlogers, a specialist in Neuchatel, rather than Ateliers 7h38, the company responsible for producing most of Jacob & Co.'s complicated watches.
The spherical trapezoidal case alone consists of 88 components and is 57 mm wide, 52 mm wide from lug to lug, and 17 mm high. Shown here is an all-black prototype made from diamond-like carbon (DLC)-coated titanium with carbon composite sides, but the production watch will actually be a combination of red gold and carbon fiber, which makes the watch More eye-catching. However, titanium and carbon composite cases are available as custom orders.
The right side of the case has an unusual crank used to wind the movement, while the other end houses the slide that activates the minute repeater. The case is topped by a wide expanse of smoked sapphire glass, the front edge of the case curves downward along its curvature, and the dial itself is also made of sapphire crystal. luxury Watches copy
More and more violent...The most striking feature of this watch is the pair of three-axis flying tourbillon regulators located at the base of the dial (with a small power reserve display between them). Unlike a traditional tourbillon that rotates around a single axis, a triple-axis tourbillon rotates around three different axes simultaneously. In an improvement over the earlier Twin Turbo, the tourbillon was accelerated. Both spin violently - the first axis takes 24 seconds to rotate once, the second axis takes 8 seconds to rotate once, and the third axis takes 30 seconds to rotate once.
Multi-axis rotation means that each balance wheel is never in the same position and is therefore theoretically unaffected by gravity. The two tourbillons are connected by a differential, producing a single average rate, making the movement's timing more stable than with a single regulator. But most importantly, the tourbillon provides the extremely striking visual spectacle expected of a large watch.
The Twin Turbo Furious also features a decimal minute repeater, which is perhaps fitting for such an obviously progressive master copy watches. The decimal system is a modern invention that is more intuitive because time is struck the same way an analog watch is read.
Rather than striking the hours, quarter-hours and minutes like a traditional minute repeater, the decimal minute repeater strikes the hours, minutes and single minutes in 10-minute segments, making it easy to interpret. Like many modern minute repeaters, it has a built-in safety mechanism that allows the time-setting mechanism to be disconnected when striking the time, and vice versa.
The third complication is the monopusher chronograph, which is fairly traditional in construction, relying on a column wheel and a horizontal clutch. But related to the chronograph is the most novel complication in the watch: the reference time difference indication. It is inspired by the timing panels used in racing to show the driver the difference between a reference and actual lap time.
The reference time is set via the crown and displayed in two adjacent windows at six o’clock (near the “chessboard” in the image below). The larger numeral shows the minutes and the small hole on the right shows the seconds, up to 5 minutes and 59 seconds. master copy watches
Once the chronograph is started and stopped, a "pit plate" wheel surrounding the dial indicates the time difference between the recorded time and the reference time. Positive differential values are displayed with red numbers on the wheel, while negative differential times are displayed in yellow.
The movement that stands out is the hand-wound caliber JCFM05 with a frequency of 3 Hz and a power reserve of 50 hours. It consists of a staggering 832 parts.
Viewed from the back, the construction of the movement looks as complex as it actually is. The style is reminiscent of concept watches from Richard Mille and Audemars Piguet, but is still interesting.
Its construction is quite symmetrical, with the decimal repeater hammer located in the top center. Directly below is the chronograph mechanism, including the column wheel on the left, with the minute repeater regulator directly opposite. At the bottom are a pair of gold-plated skeleton wheels that drive the tourbillon.
The movement decoration is also very careful, the hand-chamfered bridges have a black polished surface, the wheels have circular textures, and there are polished gemstone countersunk holes. breitling watches copy
